How to Add Your Recorder to Your Smartphone

Hi everyone, today we have a video and tutorial article for you regarding how to add your recorder to your Smartphone.  Our smartphone app- Elite Viewer Pro (EVP) – was very recently updated. Though we recently did a guide for this, the newer version of EVP has some visual alterations to the interface which we felt warranted a small secondary guide on adding the recorders remote viewing info to the newest version of the app. At the end of this process, you should know how to add your recorder to your Smartphone.

When asking How to add your recorder to your Smartphone, you should first know that there are two ways to go about setting up remote viewing on your recorder. You will find some short information on these methods below and accompanying video guides.

The first and our most recommended method for this is p2p. This is our more recommended method as it is simpler to set up and requires little networking knowledge. You can find a video guide for this setup here:

The second method option is called port forwarding, and this is a bit more complex and requires a bit more network knowledge. You will also need to have the credentials to access your ISP’s router. You can find a video guide for this setup here:
